DESCRIPTION:CMHA PEI’s 10th Annual Summerside Spring Gala coming up April 29\, 2026 \nThe Canadian Mental Health Association’s 10th Annual Summerside Spring Gala is taking place on Wednesday\, April 29 at the Credit Union Place from 7-9:30pm. \nThe Gala\, which kicks off National Mental Health Week (May 4-10)\, will be hosted by Wade Lynch\, a 40+ year veteran of Canadian theatre and features keynote speaker\, Tina Rayner\, a mental health advocate from western PEI\, who will share her inspiring journey as a mother who faced unimaginable tragedy\, and musical guest\, Trinity Bradshaw\, a Summerside native and award-winning artist. Tickets are $100 each and includes a three-course meal served by Five Eleven West\nRestaurant. (Storm date: February 22 at 1 pm\, same place) \nAnne Bishop has been a social justice activist for five decades.The first edition of Becoming an Ally\, published in 1994\, sold more than 50\,000 copies worldwide. In this new edition\, the author\, building on three earlier editions\, has written a new guide to structural oppression\, where it came from and how it spread.  What will it take to transform our world society into one that provides the resources and support required for everyone to thrive?
