DESCRIPTION:Organizational Background\nThe Community Sector Network of Prince Edward Island (CSNPEI) is the provincial network supporting nonprofit organizations across PEI. CSNPEI works to strengthen the nonprofit sector through advocacy\, capacity-building initiatives\, sector research\, and collaborative partnerships. \n  \nCSNPEI serves a diverse membership of nonprofit organizations and works closely with government\, funders\, and community leaders to strengthen the sector’s sustainability and impact. \n  \nCSNPEI is seeking an experienced consultant to facilitate the development of a 4–5 year Strategic Plan that will guide the organization’s priorities\, partnerships\, and growth. \n  \nPurpose of the Strategic Planning Process\nThe purpose of this engagement is to develop a clear\, actionable strategic plan that: \n\nClarifies CSNPEI’s strategic priorities for the next 4–5 years\nAligns the organization’s mission\, programs\, and operations with sector needs\nReflects the perspectives of staff\, board\, members\, and key stakeholders\nIntegrates insights from previous organizational engagements and sector initiatives\nProvides a framework for decision-making\, resource allocation\, and impact measurement\n\n  \nThe resulting plan should be practical\, focused\, and actionable\, providing clear direction for the Board and staff while positioning CSNPEI for continued leadership within the nonprofit sector. \n  \nScope of Work\nThe selected consultant will design and facilitate a strategic planning process that includes the following components: \n  \n3.1 Review and Integration of Existing Materials \nThe consultant will review and integrate findings from previous organizational engagements and documents\, including but not limited to: \n\nOrganizational reports and evaluations\nSector engagement findings\nProgram outcomes and research initiatives\nRelevant environmental or sector scans\n\nThis analysis should help identify key themes\, opportunities\, and strategic considerations. \n  \n3.2 Stakeholder Engagement \nThe consultant will design and facilitate engagement opportunities to gather input from key stakeholders. Engagement should include: \n\nAt least one session with staff (online or in-person) to identify operational insights\, priorities\, and future opportunities.\nAt least one in-person strategic discussion session with the Board of Directors.\nAt least one facilitated session with CSNPEI members (online or in-person).\nDevelopment and administration of an online survey to gather input from all stakeholders.\n\nThe consultant will analyze and summarize engagement findings to inform strategic priorities. \n  \n3.3 Strategic Framework Development \nUsing insights from engagement opportunities and document review\, the consultant will support the development of a strategic framework that may include: \n\nStrategic priorities or pillars\nDesired outcomes and impact areas\nOrganizational guiding principles or values\nKey strategic directions\nConsiderations for implementation and evaluation\n\nThe consultant should ensure the framework is clear\, focused\, and achievable for CSNPEI. \n  \n4. Deliverables\nThe consultant will produce the following deliverables: \n  \n\n\nDocument Review & Environmental Analysis Summary\n\n\nA concise summary synthesizing insights from previously completed engagements\, organizational documents\, and relevant sector context to identify key themes and considerations for the strategic planning process. \n  \n\nStrategic Stakeholder Engagement opportunities (as outlined in 3.2)\n\nA summary of insights gathered through stakeholder engagement sessions and the online survey\, identifying key themes to inform the strategic plan. \n  \n\nDraft Strategic Plan\n\nA preliminary version of the strategic plan for review and feedback\, outlining strategic priorities\, desired outcomes\, guiding principles\, and other core framework elements. \n  \n\n\nFinal Strategic Plan (Designed and Publication-Ready)\n\n\nA polished\, final strategic plan suitable for public release\, board approval\, and organizational use.  \n  \n\n\nFinal Presentation to the Board\, Staff\, and Members\n\n\nAn online or in-person summary presentation highlighting the strategic plan and key considerations arising from the planning process. \n  \n5. Budget\nThe maximum budget for this engagement is $10\,000 inclusive of all professional fees\, expenses\, and applicable taxes. \n  \n6.Project Timeline \nCSNPEI anticipates the strategic planning process will take approximately 3 – 4 months. The anticipated timeline is: \n\nProposal Deadline – April 13\, 2026\nConsultant Selection – Late April 2026\nProject Start – May 2026\nEngagement Sessions – May to June 2026\nDraft Strategic Plan – July 2026\nFinal Strategic Plan – August 2026\n\n  \nTimeline may be adjusted collaboratively based on consultant availability. \n  \n7. Proposal Requirements \nProposals must include: \n  \n\nProponent Profile\n\n\nCompany overview\nName and bios of project lead and team members\nRelevant experience with nonprofits and/or backbone organizations\n\n  \n\nApproach & Methodology\n\n\nEngagement strategy\nPlanning approach\nProposed tools and techniques\n\n  \n\nWork Plan & Deliverables\n\nProvide a detailed description of the activities to be conducted by the consultant in order to complete the requested scope of work\, including \n\nThe specific activities to be completed at each stage\nA timeline for the activities at each stage\nMilestones and deliverables tied to those activities\nA detailed budget for each stage\, along with a proposed payment schedule tied to project milestones and/or deliverables\n\n  \n\nReferences\n\nInclude three references of individuals who can speak to their experience with the consultant in conducting projects of similar scope. Information regarding each reference should include the individual’s name\, address\, telephone number\, and email address. \n  \n\nPrevious Work Samples\n\nThe proposal should include at least two examples of projects similar to the scope of work requested within this RFP. \n  \n\nConflict of Interest\n\nDisclose any conflicts or perceived conflicts of interest. \n  \n8. Terms and Conditions\n  \n\n\nAcceptance or Rejection of Proposal\n\n\n       CSNPEI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and may waive minor errors or omissions in any proposal.  \n  \n\nRight to Negotiate / Modify Scope\n\n        CSNPEI reserves the right to negotiate the scope of work\, timeline\, or pricing with  \n      the selected proponent. \n  \n\n\nOwnership of Intellectual Materials\n\n\n        All data collected and all resulting materials prepared by the consultant will be the  \n      exclusive property of CSNPEI which reserves ownership rights to all ideas and  \n      concepts developed. \n  \n\n\nTermination of Contract\n\n\n       Either the consultant or CSNPEI may terminate the contract\, once awarded\, at any  \n       time upon giving notice in writing at least thirty days prior to the date of termination  \n      without penalty or recourse. DESCRIPTION:About the Opportunity: \nThe PEI Provincial Immigration Partnership Program (PIP) is seeking confident\, organized\, and engaging Project Facilitator & Presenter(s) to support the successful delivery of the Open Doors PEI project while leading presentations\, workshops\, and stakeholder communications. \nOpen Doors PEI: Hiring for Success is a newcomer-led initiative focused on promoting more inclusive and equitable hiring practices across Prince Edward Island. The project will be anchored in the lived experiences of racially marginalized newcomers and guided by the recent findings of the Immigrant Advisory Table (IAT) and BIPOC BPN Needs Assessment\, with coordination support from the PEI Provincial Immigration Partnership (PIP). \nThis role combines project coordination with strong public speaking and facilitation skills to help the project stay aligned\, with informed and motivated stakeholders. \nFacilitators will report directly to the PIP Project Manager at IRSA. The ideal candidates will also work collaboratively with each other and with the PIP Project Coordinator\, external DEI consultant(s)\, the Immigrant Advisory Table\, and several IRSA staff. \nThe ideal candidates are excellent communicators who can manage project activities\, facilitate meetings\, and present information clearly to community stakeholders. \nKey Responsibilities \n 1.
