Girls & Gender-Diverse Youth Parliament Hosted by PEI Coalition for Women in Government

The Coalition is hosting its first-ever Girls & Gender-Diverse Youth Parliament that will be running in March 2024.

This project, led by a Steering Committee and the PEI Coalition for Women in Government, is an opportunity for these young people – who care
about any specific community issues and who do not see themselves represented demographically well enough in the Legislature – to have a chance to exist in this space with a group of people who will support them in stepping forward and learning the processes of our provincial government first-hand.

It will take place over three days, from March 7th to 9th. All expenses will be paid for, including hotel, food, any event supplies, and mileage costs for their families to get into and out of town.
