International Women’s Day Celebration 2025
International Women’s Day 2025 “Accelerate Action for Equality”
The Advisory Council on the Status of Women, the Coalition for Women’s Leadership, Women’s Network PEI and community volunteers invite everyone to join in celebrating IWD on Saturday, March 8 from 6:30-9:30pm in the Rotary Auditorium of the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre (CLLC). Please enter the library through the back doors on Pownal Street.
We will host a variety of performers sharing their movement and dance, and instructing basic movements. Speakers will share their passion to advance women and girls and grow community. And as usual there will be refreshments, a children’s corner with books and activities, and IWD gifts for all. The evening will wrap up by singing together the IWD anthem Bread & Roses.
People of all genders are welcome to this free of charge event. Come connect and reconnect in friendship, allyship and celebration to accelerate a global movement towards gender equality!
