Expectations of Board Members:

• Understand and support the mission and values of the organization
• Attend monthly board meetings (primarily but not exclusively online meetings)
• Commit to a 2 or 3 year term
• Must represent* a non-profit or charity-based organization on PEI (staff or volunteer)

*Applicants must be from an organization that is (or willing and eligible to become) a member of the Community Sector Network of PEI. 

Experience and Skills that will be considered an asset:

• Experience with membership-based organizations
• Experience with board governance
• Public Relations and communications
• Financial management experience
• Mentoring/ Coaching
• Bilingualism (English and French)
