Exciting Opportunity Alert! Join the PEI Literacy Alliance Board!
Are you passionate about literacy and eager to make a difference in your community? We’re looking for dynamic, dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors and help steer the strategic direction of the PEI Literacy Alliance.
Deadline: August 16th, 2024

Ideal Candidate:
Willing to serve on board committees and support special events
Understand board governance (training provided)
Committed to staying informed on literacy trends and impacts
Your Commitment:
Attend and participate in quarterly 2-hour board meetings
Attend our Annual General Meeting on September 24th, 2024, at 9am
Represent one of our member organizations (or join as a new member)
As a Director, You Will:
Bring your knowledge, skills, and unique perspective
Approve policies and strategic recommendations
Maintain confidentiality and act in the organization’s best interest
Participate in the development of our strategic plan
Oversee the budget, financial statements, and executive director’s performance
Foster positive relationships within our community
Term: 2-year term with potential renewal up to a maximum of 6 years.
