Volunteer Opportunity with Joyriders Therapeutic Riding

Volunteering with the Joyriders is a great way to enjoy special people and horses, and have fun together at our venue in Hunter River!

We offer therapeutic riding programs for children and adults with disabilities for therapeutic benefits, recreation, and socializing. See our video at www.thejoyriders.ca!

If you are 16 years or older, reasonably fit, and comfortable around horses, why not join our 2025 spring riding program for eight weeks in May and June?

Horse experience is not necessary, just a sense of adventure to try something new and rewarding. All volunteers must attend an orientation on April 27. Volunteer hours count towards the PEI Community Service Bursary (grades 10–12).
