This August, join the Connected Couples Program in Montague!

Date:  August 21 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Summer is the perfect time to reconnect with your partner! Family Service is excited to offer Connected Couples, a program designed to deepen friendship, improve communication and conflict skills in Montague this August 20th & 21st. Based on the Gottman Institute’s Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, this evidence-based workshop is backed by over forty years of extensive research. Couples should expect to walk away with a practical toolkit for deepening their connection and intimacy and improving their communication and conflict management.

Workshop highlights include:

  • Learn practical, research-backed tools and skills that you can apply immediately to your relationship.
  • Strengthen friendship and intimacy
  • Foster deeper appreciation and admiration
  • Navigate communication & conflict in healthier ways
  • Repair and rebuild trust
  • Create shared meaning & goals together

This is not group therapy, and there is no group sharing. Instead, couples participate in guided learning and have dedicated time to practice new skills and tools together privately in a supportive and confidential environment. The skills and insights gained can be immediately applied, helping couples feel more connected, and confident as they navigate their daily life together.

Connected Couples is designed for couples at any relationship stage who are interested in deepening their connection and intimacy, building new skills, or who want to be proactive about strengthening their relationship. It is offered using a pay-what-you-can model ($0- $400) and is co-facilitated by Gottman trained Leaders and Family Service PEI Clinical Therapists.
