Impact Measurement Services

An initiative of CSNPEI's Shared Services Program

_BE21180

CSNPEI is launching an in-house Impact Measurement and Program Evaluation service through our Shared Services Program. This service will help member organizations plan, implement, and communicate their impact, particularly in relation to grant reporting and funder requirements.

This service takes a consultative approach, working collaboratively with each organization, its funders, and staff to identify the right measurement framework and build a plan suited to their timeline and budget.

Services are available to nonprofits across Canada.

What this service offers

Recommendations on the most appropriate impact measurement framework for their work

Support in implementing the chosen framework through a collaborative, consultative process

Who is this service for?

Vision Icon

Non-profits that are new to impact measurement and need guidance getting started

Mission Icon

Organizations preparing grant applications that require an evaluation component

Mission Icon

Organizations that have done some evaluation work before but want to strengthen their approach

Mission Icon

Any CSNPEI member organization and organizations across Canada seeking support with program evaluation

The evaluation process is consultative and collaborative. It brings together the funder, the beneficiaries, and the organization’s staff to define what meaningful impact looks like and how best to measure it. This approach reflects best practice in the sector, where the most effective metrics emerge from dialogue rather than being imposed by funders alone.

Budget and Pricing

Pricing is scoped to each project and determined collaboratively based on the organization's needs, timeline, and available budget. Most funders expect evaluation to cost between 10 and 20% of a project budget. Our rates fall within this range.

CSNPEI's rates are competitive, and we offer a free consultation to talk through your needs and work out a scope that fits your budget.
