CSNPEI Office Closed for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Date: September 30
Our office is closed on September 30 for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We’ll reopen on October 1!
About the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation:
As we close our office today to observe Truth and Reconciliation Day, also known as Orange Shirt Day, we want to partake in the tradition of wearing orange to honour the Survivors of Residential “Schools” and all the Indigenous children who never returned home, as well as their families, friends and communities.
We understand and recognize that Reconciliation is an everyday effort. By wearing an orange shirt on September 30th, we commit to the enduring truth that EVERY CHILD MATTERS, every day and everywhere, as stated by the Orange Shirt Society (OSS).

CSNPEI is committed to listening to and uplifting Indigenous voices in the ongoing conversation surrounding Indigenous peoples’ rights, cultures and history.
