Alzheimer’s Awareness Conference – September 17, 2026

The Alzheimer’s Awareness Conference will return for its 15th year on September 17th, 2026, at the Credit Union Place in Summerside! 📣

‘Connected Through Care’ features an exciting line-up of experts in dementia with impactful education for family and friend caregivers, persons living with dementia, healthcare/service providers, and the public.

Throughout the day, you’ll hear from expert speakers and individuals with lived experience on vital topics including:

⭐ Navigating relationships between families and healthcare providers

⭐ New behaviour support services, and collaboration to improve access to support on PEI

⭐ Ambiguous loss and grief in dementia

⭐ Living with Young Onset Dementia

⭐ Dementia risk reduction and brain health strategies for those diagnosed
