CMHA’s 3rd Annual Push-Up Challenge
Date: February 5 - February 27

This February, the Canadian Mental Health Association PEI Division (CMHA PEI) is encouraging
Islanders to push for better mental health by participating in a fitness-based mental health
initiative, The Push-Up Challenge.
The Challenge begins on February 5 and runs until February 27. The free event engages people
in mental health through connection, physical activity and education while having fun. Participants
will take on 2,000 push-ups across the 23 days, to remember and honour the approximately 2,000
lives that are lost to suicide each day worldwide while raising vital funds for CMHA.
Participants can choose to fundraise and support CMHA PEI if they wish. Every dollar raised will
help support Islanders in their recovery from mental illness and foster positive mental health
outcomes. For more information and to register for the Challenge visit: www.thepushupchallenge.ca
For those not wishing to participate in the Challenge, you can still play a part locally by supporting a participant or donating to CMHA PEI at www.pei.cmha.ca or by
