CSNPEI is hiring an Admin Assistant!

Job Title: Administrative Assistant 

Location: Primarily in-person across multiple sites, with occasional remote work 

Hours/ Duration: Part time (22.5+ hours per week), 2-year contract 

Salary: $25 000 – $30 000 

Start: September 2025

About CSNPEI: The Community Sector Network of PEI (CSNPEI) is a nonprofit that exists to strengthen, support, and amplify the work of nonprofits, charities, and community organizations across the Island. We provide sector-wide coordination, and practical resources to help the community sector thrive. Our work is dynamic, people-centered, and always evolving.  

 

About the Role: We are looking for a reliable, organized, and adaptable Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position where you’ll provide support to multiple teams across PEI. That means working in different office environments each week. 

 

The position guarantees 22.5 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on project needs and your availability. Most work will be in-person, with some flexibility for working from home on admin-heavy days. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure efficient office operations 
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and welcoming manner 
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and manage follow-ups 
  • Draft and format internal documents, correspondence, and reports 
  • Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) and support data entry 
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and events (room bookings, materials, tech setup) 
  • Maintain office supplies and liaise with vendors or service providers 
  • Support internal communication and organization-wide coordination 
  • Other duties as required 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years experience in an administrative support role 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and digital file systems 
  • Comfortable working with different teams and adapting to changing needs 
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and professional 
  • Valid driver’s license and access to transportation 
  • Experience in nonprofit or community organizations is an asset
