Upcoming Training Opportunity: Brain Science Training for PEI Non-Profits – August 2025 Cohort

Are you part of a PEI non-profit organization working to strengthen community well-being?

The Alliance for Mental Well-Being invites your organization to apply for a unique professional development opportunity: the August 2025 cohort of Brain Science Training.

This no-cost, four-day in-person training is rooted in the science of brain development and designed specifically for community organizations working across PEI who may or may not be considering applying for an action grant in our upcoming grant cycle.

Why Attend?

  • Gain practical tools to enhance your programs and services using brain science

  • Learn trauma-informed, healing-centred approaches tailored for community settings

  • Understand the relevance of brain development science to your organization’s work across PEI

  • Build a shared language to foster collaboration across sectors and improve community well-being

Training Details

  • Dates: August 20, 21, 26, 27, 2025

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM each day

  • Location: Stanley Bridge Resort, PEI

  • Financial Support: Reimbursement available for employee wages, travel, and accommodation to reduce barriers to participation
